MINI Challenge Japan

official organiser

"MINI CHALLENGE" is a new MINI one-make race that started in the UK in 2002. As a race series in which all nine races are fought with unified race-only vehicles on the circuits in each region, it is currently held as a popular race in which more than 40 cars participate.

From 2015, the vehicle will switch to the new F series and adopt a 6-speed sequential transmission, which is rare in this class. It has been reborn as a full-fledged cup car equipped with the latest TFT dash monitor type data logger, and is also used as a training program for young drivers and new mechanics by the official team of MINI UK.

And from 2017, the Japan Series will start in the same race format as the home of England.

The series of 5 domestic races using cup cars made in the UK will create a new culture that transcends the boundaries of motor sports in Japan as a big event where many MINI fans gather together.
